Washington Savings Association Recognized For Service By State Trade Group... Philadelphia, PA -Washington Savings Association has received recognition for its outstanding commitment to community service by the Pennsylvania Association of Community Bankers (PACB).

The Association sponsors the annual Community Service Awards Program and encourages their community bank members to submit examples of their outstanding service projects for judging on a state level.

This year, the Association received more than 25 entires, selecting only four as winners. Washington Savings Association won the award for their continued commitment to and participation in the March Of Dimes WalkAmerica event. In addition to sponsoring checkpoints along the walk route that were staffed by bank employees and volunteers, Washington Savings has also raised over $4,000 for the cause since 2002.
